The EJN was represented by Hugh Dockry, Head of the EJN Secretariat, at the 11th Annual Meeting of the International Criminal Cooperation Network (REDCOOP), held from 22 to 24 June 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting was hosted by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Portugal.
Organised within the framework of the Ibero-American Association of Public Prosecutors (AIAMP), the annual meeting brought together representatives of prosecutorial authorities and partner organisations to discuss current developments in international criminal cooperation and to strengthen collaboration across jurisdictions.
During the meeting, Hugh Dockry exchanged views with participants on matters of common interest and presented the work and activities of the EJN, highlighting the Network’s role in facilitating judicial cooperation in criminal matters across Europe. He also held bilateral meetings with representatives of EL PAcCTO and the REDCOOP Coordinator and put forward suggestions for further collaboration between the EJN and REDCOOP.
The event provided an opportunity to further strengthen relations between the EJN and REDCOOP, reinforcing cooperation and dialogue between European and Ibero-American practitioners involved in cross-border criminal justice.
