On 20 November, Hugh Dockry delivered a presentation to COPEN. He spoke about the outcome of EJN’s National Correspondents’ Meeting in October, where it was agreed to extend the mandate of the Presidency Board Members and that two additional Presidency Board Members would be elected. Also in light of this meeting, Hugh mentioned the upcoming induction meeting for new EJN Contact Point, the training scheduled on how to obtain a grant for organising Regional and National EJN Meetings as well as the access for judicial authorities in the Member States to the list of EJN Contact Points.
In addition, Hugh gave a brief overview of the topics discussed at the 62nd and 63rd Plenary Meeting, highlighting in particular that at the latter a workshop was dedicated to extradition with third countries. The conclusions of the Plenaries will be presented to COPEN any time soon.
