2026 EJTN General Assembly held in Limassol, Cyprus

The 2026 General Assembly of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) took place on 18-19 June 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus. The event was hosted by the Cyprus Judicial Training School under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The General Assembly brought together representatives of judicial training institutions and partner organisations from across Europe to discuss key strategic issues affecting judicial training and the future development of the Network. The programme featured interactive presentations and workshops that fostered dialogue, facilitated the exchange of experiences, and addressed current challenges facing EJTN and its members.

Particular focus was placed on the implementation of the European Judicial Training Strategy and the preparation of EJTN’s next Strategic Plan. Participants reflected on lessons learned, exchanged views on future priorities, and contributed to discussions on shaping the Network’s direction in the years ahead.

The EJN was represented at the General Assembly by Hugh Dockry, Head of the EJN Secretariat, who participated in the discussions and exchanged views with representatives of judicial training institutions and partner organisations on matters of common interest, including the continued strengthening of judicial cooperation across Europe. During the meeting, he also presented the joint EJN–EJTN Train-the-Trainer initiative on e-evidence, highlighting ongoing cooperation between the two networks in this field.

The Assembly provided a valuable forum for collaboration, strategic reflection, and the strengthening of judicial training cooperation across Europe.
