Yes, this is where a surveillance device is placed on a vehicle, which is designed or adapted principally for providing information about the location of the vehicle. UK legislation makes no reference to placing a tracking device on a person. Such requests can be executed via police co-operation

For countries managing Article 40 requests through SIRENE channels requests may be submitted to: message@uk.sirenemail2.eu OR sirene@nca.x.gsi.gov.uk For countries managing Article 40 requests through INTERPOL channels requests may be submitted to: ncb.manchester@gb.igcs.int OR manchester@nca.x.gsi.gov.uk The UK International Crime Bureau is contactable on 0044 207 238 8115 (24 hours) * execute/recognise the measure (if other than the receiving authority) If the request is accepted, the request will be referred to the relevant law enforcement agency.
All requests should be in English. If an English translation is not provided, is incomplete, or is not carried out to a high professional standard, the request will be sent back to the requesting authority.
