Is this measure possible in your Member State under International Judicial Cooperation?

When covert investigations are admissible under the Italian law, the ordinary rules apply. The auxiliaries of the Judicial Police officers or agents and the intermediary persons through whom the said officers and agents operate.

EIO/MLA The execution of the covert investigations provided for by the law is ordered by the Chief of the Police Force involved or, by delegation, by the respective higher officers at least at provincial level, possibly, in relation to particular crimes – related to illegal immigration or drug trafficking – in agreement with specific bodies competent in the respective matter.
